Legault Homes - Photo and Video for Social Media

We have had the pleasure of developing a relationship with Legault Homes. They are a custom-home building company whose work would make your mouth drop. Seriously. Some of the most beautiful homes we have stepped in. Our particular work was assisting Therisa Legault in documenting the decor in their Home-A-Rama home. Located within the Summerlake neighborhood, this home by Legault was mesmerizing as you approached. Stone and black accent on the outside really gave it that upper-echelon feel.

Side by Side Livestream with All About Presentation

What’s up gang! We were back with our friends at All About Presentation this week, working in tandem to help the organization Side by Side Livestream their fundraiser. This organization works with LGBTQ+ youth. The full gear list was out and about with mics, booms, cameras, teleprompters, globe lighting, and more cords and HDMIs than I knew was possible. Tim the Wizard set it all up. He really is a genius in the videography and photography space.

Local Legends Summer Series of Camps

We are very excited to announce our partnership with Local Legends this summer! They are a youth sports organization run by Ryan Marable, and man, does he do a good job. Their sports consist of basketball, field hockey, lacrosse, baseball, and football. It feels good to get back to the “old days” where kids can get out there and enjoy maskless exercise. Oh, what a time! The camps were located at Millwood School and over 500 boys and girls got to do their thing in the respective sport. I remember in my childhood, that’s all I wanted too… Oh to be a kid again, right?

What a TREAT it was to product shoot for Okoa Home. They have a real passion for home, furniture, and styling pieces that work together. Their collections being virtually everywhere is evidence that they are super conscious about how their products are shot…. And insert Morrisette Media into the equation? Let’s keep it moving gang!

Business is a funny thing. Today in 2019, there is a never-ending push of online influencers telling us we should “follow our dreams” and “just do it.” No one ever tells us how to do it though. Once you decide to pull the trigger on starting something, you are faced with an infinite amount of decisions from the legal structure of your business down to the logos and branding, and don’t forget about advertising! “But wait I haven’t figured out the legal struc“— exactly; it’s a lot to think about. The minute you register a business with the Feds, all these random numbers start calling you offering payroll services and other business packages, and it can be overwhelming. This blog post is going to be a resource for you, the new business owner or someone looking to start one, and hopefully help answer some of those questions. Keep in mind this list is not in any definitive order, and is just a basic guideline. All businesses are different and need to be structured differently depending on the product or service. This article is also mainly aimed at online or e-commerce businesses, but can be adapted to a physical shop with the caveat of getting a location and business real estate and all that which we can chat more about later. Let’s get started.
